David Chevallier, one of the most talented musicians of the French scene, much sought sideman (Caratini outdoors Robert ...) has always focused his personal work on the explosion of forms, including combining Jazz, Improvised Music and literary texts (Buzzati, Pavese ...). His project music Gesualdo (controlling Europajazz in 2007) or more recently "Sit Fast & Fear Not", two very creative bridges between Jazz and Early Music are very large successes. This new creation "around jazz standards", mostly because it's a trio, may seem simpler, more obvious. But this would mean forgetting the wickedness and risk appetite, the senses of a decidedly atypical musician.
A free and personal reinterpretation of the famous American songs that are the backbone of Jazz
